Fan Archive Beatles SheffieldFan Archive Beatles Sheffield (FABS) is a passion project collecting memories of The Beatles’ visits to Sheffield.
When I started the project, I hoped to collect memories of The Beatles, concerts and the excitement of Beatlemania in the city. Instead, I found myself deeply moved by people’s stories, not only of The Beatles, but of their own lives and of Sheffield during a time of exciting cultural and social change.
All contributions are fully credited (unless contributors wish to remain anonymous) and, with permission, will be permanently donated to Sheffield Archives so they can be preserved as part of the city’s history.
I am delighted that contributors will have their stories celebrated in an exhibition at the Post Hall Gallery in the Head Post Office in spring 2027, bringing together memories, photographs, memorabilia and Sheffield’s Beatles connections.
If you have a memory to share, however small, I’d love to hear from you.
